Scientific basis to the design of medical studiesEl desarrollo del proceso docente-educativo, comienza con el diseño, pero en ocasiones se deja el mismo a la espontaneidad, a la inspiración y sentido común de los profesores que imparten la disciplina/asignatura o de los encargados de la tarea del diseño curricular, lo que provoca deficiencias en los resultados que se aspiran a alcanzar debido a que no se considera el carácter ínter y multidisciplinario del diseño, al no estar éste sustentado con fundamentos científicos que sirvan de base no sólo a la planificación y organización del proceso, sino también a la ejecución y control del mismo, ya que la calidad del proceso debe comenzar a garantizarse desde sus inicios. Así, este artículo tiene el objetivo de ofrecer a los profesores los fundamentos científicos del diseño curricular de una ciencia que se lleva al proceso docente - educativo a través una disciplina/ asignatura de la carrera de Medicina, los cuales están conformados por fundamentos científicos de la ciencia particular y por fundamentos didácticos, psicológicos, sociológicos, filosóficos y epistemológicos. DeCS: DISEÑO CURRICULAR; FUNDAMENTOS CIENTÍFICOS DEL DISEÑO CURRICULAR; FUNDAMENTOS CIENTÍFICOS DE LA CIENCIA PARTICULAR; FUNDAMENTOS DIDÁCTICOS; FUNDAMENTOS PSICOLÓGICOS; FUNDAMENTOS SOCIOLÓGICOS; FUNDAMENTOS FILOSÓFICOS; FUNDAMENTOS EPISTEMOLÓGICOS DEL DISEÑO CURRICULAR.ABSTRACT The development of the teaching-educational process starts with its design, but sometimes it is left to the spontaneity, inspiration and common sense of the professors who teach the discipline or those on charge of the curricular design, provoking deficiencies in the results that might be expected, due to the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary character of the curricular design is not taken into consideration, and is not sustained by scientific basis, not only for its planning and organization, but also for its implementation and control, since the quality of the process might be guaranteed from its beginnings. This research paper is aimed at offering the scientific basis of the curricular design of a science that is taken to the teaching-educational process through a discipline of Medical Studies, which includes the scientific basis of a particular science considering didactic, psychological, sociological, philosophical and epistemological bases.
