Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina/ Importance of the pedagogical strategy for improving the performance of tutors in education at woObjetivo: argumentar la importancia de la estrategia pedagógica para el mejoramiento del desempeño de los tutores en la educación en el trabajo.Material y Métodos: se utilizó un modelo de investigación cualitativa, se emplearon métodos teóricos y empíricos. En las indagaciones teóricas se utilizaron: Análisis documental: en la conformación del marco teórico de la investigación relacionado con el desempeño pedagógico de los tutores en la educación en el trabajo de la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM). El análisis Histórico-Lógico, sistematización, modelación, enfoque de sistema.Resultados: se logró argumentar de manera científica la importancia de elaborar una propuesta de estrategia pedagógica para el mejoramiento del desempeño de los tutores en la educación en el trabajo en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina, contribuyendo a perfeccionar la producción científica de nuestra Institución.Conclusiones: se plantea que la actividad de los tutores, constituye un elemento clave para el logro del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la educación en el trabajo, es el actor más importante en el sistema de influencias educativas que actúan en el proceso de formación de la personalidad profesional del Médico General Básico y que trasciende lo estrictamente académico, alcanzando la esfera personal y social del joven por lo que se constituye en un eslabón fundamental del proceso formativo.ABSTRACTObjective: to argue the importance of the pedagogical strategy for improving the performance of tutors in educationat work.Material and Methods: a qualitative research model was used, theoretical and empirical methods were used. In the theoretical investigations, the following were used: Documentary analysis: in the conformation of the theoretical frame of the investigation related to the pedagogical performance of the tutors in the education in the work of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). The Historical-Logical analysis, systematization, modeling, system approach.Results: it was possible to scientifically argue the importance of developing a pedagogical strategy proposal for improving the performance of tutors in education at work at the Latin American School of Medicine, contributing to improve the scientific production of our Institution.Conclusions: it is stated that the activity of tutors, is a key element for the achievement of the teaching-learning process in education at work, is the most important actor in the system of educational influences that act in the process of training the professional personality of the General Basic Physician and that transcends the strictly academic, reaching the personal and social sphere of the young person for what constitutes a fundamental link in the formativeprocess.
