Estrategia pedagógica para el trabajo educativo desde la Historia de la medicina/ Pedagogical strategy for educational work from the History of medicine Estrategia pedagógica para el trabajo educativo desde la Historia de la medicina/ Pedagogical strategy for educational work from the History of medicineObjetivo: diseñar una estrategia pedagógica para el trabajo educativo en la ELAM desde su vinculación con la Historia de la Medicina.Material y método: se realizó un proyecto de investigación-desarrollo desde 2015 hasta 2017. La muestra fue de 30 docentes, 106 estudiantes y 10 directivos. Se caracterizó el desempeño docente para el trabajo educativo para lo cual se definió la variable a estudiar, sus dimensiones y los parámetros para considerar el desempeño docente en tres niveles: alto, medio y bajo, según los resultados de las indagaciones empíricas efectuadas como la observación del desempeño inicial y final.Resultados: para la dimensión Actividad Docente el nivel de desempeño fue alto; para la dimensión Preparación Humanista fue medio y para la dimensión Preparación en Historia de la Medicina fue bajo. Se diseñó una estrategia pedagógica en cinco etapas: determinación de problemas, sensibilización, organización, ejecución de las actividades docentes y evaluación.Conclusiones: falta motivación por la Historia de la Medicina y desconocimientos sobre destacadas figuras e hitos. La aplicación de la estrategia permitió constatar el mejoramiento del desempeño docente para el trabajo educativo desde la Historia de la Medicina.ABSTRACTObjective: to design a pedagogical strategy for educational work in the ELAM from its link with the History of Medicine.Material and method: a research-development project was carried out from 2015 to 2017. The sample consisted of 30 teachers, 106 students and 10 managers. The teaching performance for the educational work was characterized for which the variable to be studied was defined, its dimensions and the parameters to consider the teaching performancein three levels: high, medium and low, according to the results of the empirical investigations made as the observation of the initial and final performance.Results: for the Teaching Activity dimension the level of performance was high; for the Pre-Paración Humanistdimension it was medium and for the dimension Preparation in History of Medicine was low. A pedagogical strategy was designed in five stages: determination of problems, awareness, organization, execution of teaching activities and evaluation.Conclusions: lack of motivation for the History of Medicine and lack of knowledge about outstanding figures and milestones. The application of the strategy allowed to see the improvement of teaching performance for educational work from the History of Medicine.
