CONSIDERACIONES PERIOPERATORIAS EN LAS GESTANTES INFECTADAS POR EL NUEVO CORONAVIRUS SARS-COV-2 / PERIOPERATORY CONSIDERATIONS IN PREGNANT WOMEN INFECTED BY THE NEW CORONAVIRUS SARS-COV-2 CONSIDERACIONES PERIOPERATORIAS EN LAS GESTANTES INFECTADAS POR EL NUEVO CORONAVIRUS SARS-COV-2 / PERIOPERATORY CONSIDERATIONS IN PREGNANT WOMEN INFECTED BY THE NEW CORONAVIRUS SARS-COV-2Objetivo: actualizar el manejo perioperatorio en gestantes sospechosas o con infección por COVID-19, con la finalidad de disminuir el riesgo de trasmisión a los profesionales de la salud y otros pacientes.Desarrollo: se realizó una revisión de artículos que hacían referenciaría al tema en cuestión y conductas en gestantes con sospecha /confirmación de la enfermedad COVID-19, tales como: preparación del quirófano, consideraciones anestésicas en las gestantes, cuidado con el manejo de la vía aérea, cuidados en el puerperio, lactancia materna y algunas recomendaciones personales para este grupo vulnerable al SARS-CoV-2, así como los cuidados y protección del personal anestésico-quirúrgico. Independientemente de las indicaciones específicas que se plantean, la OMS y organizaciones recomiendan adoptar en todos los pacientes de forma rutinaria una serie de indicaciones descritas en el presente artículo.Conclusiones: se requiere de entrenamiento y actualización continua por parte del personal médico y paramédico. Los anestesiólogos y el equipo multidisciplinario de trabajo en PAMI involucrados con estos casos deben disponer de algoritmos locales con los medios que se dispongan en cada servicio.Palabras clave: SARS-CoV-2; infección por COVID-19; gestantes con COVID-19; menejo perioperatorio en gestante.AbstractObjective: to update the perioperative management in suspected pregnant women or those with COVID-19 infection, in order to reduce the risk of transmission to health professionals and other patients.Development: a review of articles that made reference to the subject in question and behaviors in pregnant women with suspected / confirmed COVID-19 disease was carried out, such as: preparation of the operating room, anesthetic considerations in pregnant women, care with the management of the line air, care in the puerperium, breastfeeding and some personal recommendations for this group vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2, as well as the care and protection of anesthetic-surgical personnel. Regardless of the specific indications that are raised, the WHO and organizationsrecommend that all patients routinely adopt a series of indications described in this article.Conclusions: continuous training and updating is required by medical and paramedical personnel. The anesthesiologists and the multidisciplinary team working in PAMI involved with these cases must have local algorithms with the meansavailable in each service.
