Palabras clave: infecciones vaginales; prevalencia; Gardnerella vaginalis; Candida albicans;Trichomonas vaginalis.ABSTRACTObjective: to determine the prevalence of vaginal infections in women with or without gynecological symptoms who attended the Gynecology Consultation of the General Hospital of Huambo.Method: cross-sectional descriptive study conducted from November 2011 to May 2012 on 493 vaginal exudatesobtained from 172 pregnant women without symptoms and 321 non-pregnant women, with gynecological symptoms.
