Estrategia metodológica para mejorar la habilidad comprensión de lectura en el postgrado en la ELAM / Methodological strategy to improve the reading comprehension ability at elam post academical teaching Estrategia metodológica para mejorar la habilidad comprensión de lectura en el postgrado en la ELAM / Methodological strategy to improve the reading comprehension ability at elam post academical teachingObjetivo: diseñar una estrategia metodológica fundamentada en los principios filosóficos, sociológicos, psicológicos y didácticos que sustentan la pedagogía cubana actual.Método: la investigación guarda relación con un estudio descriptivo. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico matemático. Se seleccionó una población de 128 profesionales, de ellos 53 profesionales de las ciencias básicas y el hospital de la ELAM.Resultados: los profesionales de la ELAM necesitan demostrar competencia lingüística adecuada, lo que presupone la integración de las cuatro habilidades de la lengua. Sin embargo, prevalecen insuficiencias en la habilidad comprensión de lectura en la enseñanza postgraduada en la ELAM. La estrategia se caracteriza por el uso de textos contextualizadosy tareas integradoras bajo el principio de la flexibilidad, dirigidas a mejorar la habilidad comprensión de lectura en la enseñanza postgraduada. La estrategia metodológica se sometió a un proceso de validación empírica comprobándose su efectividad para el proceso de desarrollo de la comprensión de lectura en idioma inglés en la enseñanza postgraduada en la ELAM.Conclusión: los estudios realizados permitieron caracterizar el estado del desarrollo de la habilidad comprensión de lectura en idioma inglés en la enseñanza postgraduada en la ELAM y la estrategia propuesta aplicada a partir de la determinación de problemas y potencialidades mostró su valía porque permitió transformaciones en el desarrollo de lahabilidad comprensión de lectura en idioma inglés en la enseñanza postgraduada en la ELAM.ABSTRACTObjective: to desing a methodological strategy supported by philosofical, sociological,  psychological and didactical fundamentals that provide the current Cuban Pedagogy.Method: the investigation is related to a descriptive study. Methods of theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical level were used. A sample of 128 professionals, 53 of them are from ELAM hospital and basical sciencies.Results: the professionals of ELAM need to show language satisfactory capability, this overcome the integration of the four language abilities. However, predominated insufficiencies in reading comprehension abilities in post academical learning in the ELAM. The strategy is characterized by the use of contextualized texts and integrated labors under criteria of flexibility, addresses to improve the reading comprehension ability in post academical teaching. The methodological strategy was tried out to the process of empiric validation, testing the effectiveness to the development process of reading comprehension in English language at ELAM post academical teaching.Conclusions: the studies carried out allow to characterize the state of the development in reading comprehension ability in English language at ELAM post academic teaching and the strategy proposed applied since the determination of the problems and potentialities showed its value, because allowed transformations in the development of the reading comprehension ability in English language at ELAM post academic teaching.Keywords: methodological strategy; reading comprehension; ability.
