AN ADVANCED REVIEW ON VISUALISATION OF RESEARCH TRENDS IN BACTERIAL WILT

SUMMARY

Bacterial Wilt is a plant disease transmitted through insects, irrigated water, and farm equipment. The use of insecticides, controlling the beetle population, usage of resistant variants, and crop rotation are common measures to control this plant disease. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “bacterial wilt”. All published articles related to “bacterial wilt” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding bacterial wilt and also to find out the trends related to the same. Plant disease, Biological and Annual Review of Phytopathology are the highly active journals related to bacterial wilt. China is the most active country in the research related to bacterial wilt and followed by the USA and Hungary. Department of Plant Pathology, University of Wisconsin-Madison of USA is the most active organization in this research domain. The most active author is Shen Q and the most productive author with the highest average citation is Khounlotham M.
