SUMMARY
O presente artigo pretende fazer uma análise da influência da mídia no Poder Legislativo com base no caso Carolina Dieckmann. O trabalho foi desenvolvido utilizando-se o método dedutivo. Em primeiro momento, analisou-se o poder de influência da mídia nos processos de criminalização, juntamente com seu sensacionalismo, e seu interesse financeiro por detrás das notícias. O papel da mídia, no processo de criminalização primária, foi o foco principal do trabalho. Já na segunda parte do trabalho, realiza-se uma análise da Teoria do Agendamento, como uma teoria capaz de auxiliar na compreensão do surgimento da Lei n° 12.737/2012 no contexto do caso Carolina Dieckmann. THE MEDIA AGENDA-SETTING POWER IN THE LEGISLATIVE DECISIONS IN CRIMINAL MATTERS Abstract: This article aims to analyze the influence of the media in the Legislature based on case Carolina Dieckmann. The study was conducted using the deductive method. At first, we analyzed the power of media influence on the processes of criminalization, along with its sensationalism, and his financial interest behind the news. The role of the media in the process of primary criminalization was the primary focus of the work. In the second part of the carried out an analysis of the Theory of Scheduling, as a theory able assist in understanding the emergence of Law No. 12.737/2012 case in the context of Carolina Dieckmann.
