SUMMARY
Increasingly trends and attentions to human relations in organizations as well as influence of personality traits on the quality of leadership encouraged us to study the relationship between dimensions of personality traits from perspective of McCrae and Paul Costa and emotional intelligence with job burnout tax administration of service providers in General Office of Tax Administration, Tehran North. To measure personality traits of managers, there have been used from frame of McCrae and Paul Costa theory that includes five dimensions: neuroticism, extroversion, flexibility, adaptability and accountability. We have also formed items of emotional intelligence and job burnout based on theory of Bar-Own and Maslach and Jackson respectively. The research population consisted personnel of General Office of Tax Administration, Tehran North. Finally, due to data normality, using parametric methods and Pearson correlation coefficient, data analysis shows significant relationship between personality traits and emotional intelligence with job burnout, so that there is a significant positive relationship between neuroticism indicator with emotional exhaustion and job burnout, as well as between compatibility and accountability indicators with depersonalization. There is also a significant negative correlation between extroversion indicator with emotional exhaustion and lob burnout, as well as between accountability with emotional exhaustion. Meanwhile, flexibility has no correlation with any aspect of job burnout. Among dimensions of emotional intelligence, stress tolerance has positively correlated with emotional exhaustion and self-esteem, problem-solving, impulse control and happiness have significant negative correlation with emotional exhaustion. Accountability and problem solving have positive correlation with depersonalization, while there was no significant relationship between other dimensions of emotional intelligence. There is a negative correlation between lack of personal competency with self-consciousness and flexibility; while it has no significant relationship with other aspects of emotional intelligence. Finally, job burnout has shown a significant positive correlation with stress tolerance and impulse control. Determining dimensions of the relationship between personality traits and emotional intelligence with job burnout in General Office of Tax Administration will help organizations to choose and train appropriate managers among persons according to their personality traits. In this way, they can consider an optimized future for organization using new methods of guidance and leadership because behaviors of individuals depend on their nature and personality dimensions. However, creative managers play a significant role on development, continuity and achieve lofty goals of organization because of their specific personality dimensions and finally, they motivate and satisfy their subordinate employees.
