SUMMARY
Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is one of the requirements to increase employee productivity, in addition, K3 is a human right of every worker. This study aimed to determine the effect of safety motivation and safety knowledge on safety performance. PT X Sidoarjo is the second largest steel company in Indonesia and is located in Sidoarjo, with the final products of production in the form of billets and wire rods. PT X Sidoarjo has implemented SMK3 and has a vision to become a steel producer who can be a role model in work safety, human resources, costs, values and being responsible to the community. In the production process, PT X Sidoarjo needs to carry out maintenance on machines and production equipment carried out by the Civil Department and the Mechanic Department. Calculated with simple random sampling, the sample in this study are 60 workers which consisted of contract workers from Mechanic Department and Civil Department. This study used Mutilple Linear Regression to find out the influence or functional relationship between Safey Motivation and Safety Knowledge on Worker’s Safety Performance. The results showed that Safety Motivation had a significant positive effect on safety performance and safety knowledge had no effect on safety performance. It can be concluded that Safety Motivation has a significant positive influence on Safety Performance, but Safety Knowledge has no influence on Safety Performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh safety motivation dan safety knowledge terhadap safety performance. PT X Sidoarjo merupakan perusahaan baja terbesar kedua di Indonesia dan berlokasi di Sidoarjo, dengan hasil akhir produksi berupa billet dan wire rod. PT X Sidoarjo telah menerapkan SMK3 dan memiliki visi menjadi produsen baja yang bisa menjadi percontohan dalam keselamatan kerja, sumber daya manusia, biaya, nilai dan bertanggung jawab kepada masyarakat. Dalam proses produksinya, PT X Sidoarjo perlu melakukan maintenance mesin dan peralatan produksi yang dilakukan oleh Depatemen Civil dan Departemen Mechanic. Menggunakan simple random sampling, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 60 pekerja yang merupakan pekerja dari divisi mechanic dan divisi sipil. Penelitian ini menggunakan Multipe Linear Regression untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Safety Motivation dan Safety Knowledge terhadap Safety Performance Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Safety Motivation berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap safety performance dan Safety knowledge tidak berpengaruh terhadap safety performance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Safety Motivation berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap safety performance dan Safety knowledge tidak berpengaruh terhadap safety performance.
