STUDIES OF MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL PHYSICS BY FACILITIES OF I?T: ANALYSIS OF EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY

The article devoted to the problem of implementation of methodical system of medical and biological physics education by facilities of information and communication technologies. Methodical system includes all types of training sessions, and regulates students self-study. Main attention in the article is concentrated on research of multimedia lecture system implementations peculiarities and interactive system of laboratory classes of course "Medical and Biological Physics" for future doctors. The classification of computer models used in the laboratory workshop. Made conclusions regarding changes in motivational, factual and procedural components of educational activity in systemic use of information and communication technologies

El Aula Virtual: su formación y necesidad para la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina/The virtual classroom: its formation and necessity for the Latin American Medicine School El Aula Virtual: su formación y necesidad para la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina/The virtual classroom: its formation and necessity for the Latin American Medicine SchoolObjetivos: describir el proceso de formación del Aula Virtual y su necesidad para la ELAM, en el período 2008-2017.Materiales y métodos: se realizó un estudio descriptivo longitudinal en el período 2008-2017. Se utilizaron diferentes métodos teóricos y empíricos para analizar la evolución del desarrollo del aula virtual y los elementos fundamentales de la misma en cuanto a los aspectos tecnológicos, pedagógicos, organizativos, y la comunicación. La plataforma Moodle (versiones 1.6 y 2.4), desde el servidor disponible en el Departamento de Informática Médica sirvió para el desarrollo del aula virtual.Resultados: el 82% de los estudiantes encuestados accedió al aula virtual, desde la plataforma Moodle en versión 2.4, para recuperar y crear materiales didácticos. El 48% presentó problemas de conectividad como dificultad tecnológica y el 52% accedió satisfactoriamente. El 94% estuvo motivado dentro del espacio del aula virtual. Al comparar con otros estudios realizados se identificó que existían similitudes en la necesidad de incorporar el aula virtual dentro delas nuevas tendencias educativas.Conclusiones: el proceso de formación del aula virtual de la ELAM fue paulatino, y sus resultados fueron satisfactorios. La investigación corroboró que es una necesidad para las instituciones médicas el desarrollo de la educación virtual en aras de perfeccionar el perfil del profesional de la salud que se forma.ABSTRACTObjective: to describe the formation process of Virtual Classroom and its necessity for ELAM in the 2008-2017 period.Materials and Methods: a longitudinal and descriptive study was carried out in 2008-2017 period. Different empiric and theoretical methods were used to analyze the evolution of virtual classroom development and its main elements associated with technological, pedagogical, organization and the communication elements.Results: the Moodle plateau (versions 1.6 y 2.4), from the server available in Informatics Medical Department served 82% quested students had access to the virtual classroom since Moodle plateau 2.4, to rescue and create didactical materials. The 48% had connection problems as a technological difficulty and the 52% acceded satisfactory. The 94% was motivated inside the area of virtual classroom. Comparing to other studies carried out were identified similarities in the necessity to incorporate the virtual classroom in the new educative tendencies.Conclusions: the process for formation of ELAM virtual classroom was slow and its results are satisfactory. The investigation confirms that it is a necessity for medical institutions the development of the virtual education to improve the profile of the health professional that is formed.
