SUMMARY
The main objectives of this study are the simulation of the local flows of Medjerda in flooding, the mapping of the exposed issues and the quantification of the risk of flood. The hazard is evaluated with the help of a two-dimensional hydrodynamic model: the SMS model. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to quantify the vulnerability. Flood risk maps are finally obtained by crossing the flood hazard map and the vulnerability map of the exposed issues. The comparison of risk maps obtained for different hazard scenarios highlighted the increased risk of flooding in some areas depending on the hazard importance.
