This study proposes the characterization of geometric transformations in space, with particular reference to Isometries and to Homotheties, with simple demonstrations of Euclidean type. It also highlights the interrelationship between the modern classific... see more

We determine the group of isometries of certain spherical spaces which are embedded in Galois Spaces. Concerning other results of similar type see [2],[3],[4],[5],[6].

Some stability questions of the Jensen's functional inequality in the setting of 2-normed spaces are derived in this article. Few more results are given on approximate isometries.

Can folding a piece of paper flat make it larger? We explore whether a shape S must be scaled to cover a flat-folded copy of itself. We consider both single folds and arbitrary folds (continuous piecewise isometries S?R2). The underlying problem is motiva... see more

Let Ti be a complex Hilbert space and B(TT) the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H. We give the concrete forms of surjec-tive continue unital linear maps from B(TT) onto itself that preserves G-partial-isometric operators.

Let us consider an abstract group with the following presentationwhere ki, lj ? {2,..., 8}. We provide conditions in order to find a faithful, discrete and geometrically finite representation T : G? PSL(2; C), that is, to represent G as a group of isometr... see more

In these notes we present a particular rigidity property for finitely generated discrete groups of isometries of the hyperbolic three space H3 . This property is closely related to the following result obtained in the papers [5], [2], [3] and [4].
