MAIN APPROACHES OF FREE SOFTWARE APPLICATION IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ABROAD

SUMMARY

The question of transition to free software more and more often occurs as among of users, and at the level of executive and legislative branches. With the tightening the situation to the control of licensed software, problem of transition to licensed software does not require substantial investment, and has sufficient functionality, it becomes increasingly important. This article discusses the main approaches of free software package application for creation a unified educational information environment which will be adapted to the needs and features of the school system, be helpful for the development of modern information leaders thinking, experts support services, teachers, pupils and parents. The article also contains a variety of materials about free software, developed specifically for educational purposes or suitable for use in schools and other educational institutions to conduct and / or support the educational process.
