SUMMARY
RESUMO Na contramão dos habituais usos de imagens pelo fotojornalismo, séries policiais, realities shows investigativos, entre outros materiais fartamente ilustrados por violências de todo tipo, certas produções fotográficas latino-americanas têm se utilizado de imagens capturadas da realidade para refletir outros enunciados sobre crimes e violências de gêneros. Este texto observa como certas obras buscam ressignificar as imagens de corpos violados de mulheres, a partir dos trabalhos de Regina Galindo e Ana Mendieta.Palavras-chave: Corpo; Fotografia; Violência; Gênero; América Latina.ABSTRACT Contrary to the usual uses of images by photojournalism, crime series, realities shows and many others materials illustrated by imagens of violence, certain Latin American works have used images captured from reality to reflect other statements about crimes and violence of genres.
