SUPPLY OF DRINKING WATER FROM A PHOTOVOLTAIC PUMPING SYSTEM IN THE COMMUNE OF KANDI IN BENIN

SUMMARY

Water and energy are among the most important and essential elements of life. The growing demand for energy and the inevitable future depletion of conventional sources require research into alternative sources, such as renewable energy. Solar energy is widely used for its many qualities. Work split on a theoretical study of a standalone photovoltaic pumping device and solar pumping techniques in order to establish a comparative study of this device with the existing human motor system in targeted rural communities in Kandi town. From this work we have found that this scheme is part of the aim of contributing to the improvement of the conditions of access to drinking water in rural areas and will revolutionize the field of drinking water supply.
