SUMMARY
The article presents the study results of appropriateness of hydroxycitric acid use for the correction of pathological changes in carbohydrate metabolism formed during experimental insulin resistance in rats. It is revealed that the test compound substantially inhibits the formation of hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia. It also normalizes glucose homeostasis and reduces the content of glycosylation products.
