SUMMARY
Introdução: O Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF) amplia a abrangência das ações da Atenção Básica, representando acontinuidade do cuidado na área da reabilitação. Objetivo: Avaliar os Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família existentes no estadodo Maranhão. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo, descritivo e retrospectivo utilizando dados secundários oriundos do CadastroNacional de Estabelecimentos de Saúde. Resultados: Foram investigados 108 municípios, apresentando 109 NASF tipo 1 e 17NASF tipo 2. Eram 729 profissionais cadastrados, sendo a fisioterapia com o maior número (182). Na área médica, totalizou 27profissionais. O tipo de vinculação dos profissionais predominante é estabelecido por meio de contratos (610) e a carga horáriade 40 horas (563). Conclusão: Possibilitou conhecer e quantificar o NASF, além de categorizar os seus serviços. Promoção da Saúde.AbstractIntroduction: The Support Center for Family Health (NASF, from the Portuguese acronym) extends the scope of actions of PrimaryCare, representing the continuity of the care in rehabilitation. Objective: To evaluate the Support Centers for FamilyHealth from the state of Maranhão, Brazil. Methods: Quantitative, descriptive and retrospective study using secondary datafrom the National Registry of Health Facilities. Results: We investigated 108 municipalities, with 109 NASF type 1 and 17 NASFtype 2. There were 729 registered professionals, being physical therapy the majority (182). In the medical field, totaled 27 professionals.The type of binding of the predominant professionals is established through contracts (610) and the duration of 40hours (563). Conclusion: The study made possible to know and quantify the NASF, in addition to categorize their services.
