O local-global no rap maringaense: uma leitura multimodal de “Resquícios Poéticos Renováveis” e “Obrigado” de Marinheiro

SUMMARY

Discute-se como a natureza multimodal do rap constrói representações das culturas local e global (ANJOS, 2005), conferindo identidade ao sujeito rapper em Maringá (PR), a partir da análise interpretativa de “Resquícios Poéticos Renováveis” (2016) e “Obrigado” (2018), de Ivan Marinheiro. Atenta-se às linguagens verbal, musical e imagética dos videoclipes, dialogando com as áreas da multimodalidade (JENKINS, 2008; KRESS; VAN LEEUWEN, 2006), movimento Hip-Hop (GESSA, 2010; SOUZA; FIALHO; ARALDI, 2005) e estudos de identidade (BAUMAN, 2005; HALL, 2006). Constata-se que as vestimentas e performances do rapper, as referências musicais apresentadas e os efeitos sonoros localizam a produção na cultura global do rap, enquanto os cenários de gravação dos videoclipes, as escolhas relacionadas à oralidade e às temáticas abordadas pelos poemas representam a cultura local de Maringá.
