The Effect of Firm Growth On Leverage: Evidence From Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)

SUMMARY

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan dan risiko bisnis terhadap leverage. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2016-2018 di perusahaan pertanian. Perhitungan total sampel yang diperoleh adalah 45 sampel data perusahaan (selama 3 tahun). Penelitian ini menggunakan program SPSS dan eviews untuk menghitung hasilnya. Secara umum, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dan risiko bisnis bukanlah leverage yang berpengaruh, tetapi pertumbuhan perusahaan pada leverage terbukti.
