INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR ECONOMICS STUDENTS' PROFESSIONAL LANGUAGE AND SPEECH COMPETENCES FORMATION

SUMMARY

In modern conditions of development and with the widespread use of computers the learning process in higher education institutions has to be build with the use of information technologies, which promotes differentiation, humanization and humanitarization of education, as well as intensive development and realization of spiritual and intellectual potential of students. The high culture of speech is a part of common human culture. With the today’s heightened interest in Ukrainian language as a state language the knowledge that students acquired in school is not enough. The graduate of an institute of higher education has to perfectly know Ukrainian language and use it during the performance of official duties. Developed speech-and-speaking and professional language competencies facilitate the mastery of the subject, increase the working efficiency and positively influence work relationships. The high culture of speaking and writing skills for an economics specialist is not just a reflection of his professionalism, tolerance, decorum and intellectuality. It determines his work culture and, what is the most important, the culture of his relationships in all aspects of speaking activity. The search for innovative and effective methods of teaching the language courses in economics higher education institutes governs the research into the specifics of the formation of speech-and-speaking competencies of economics students with the help of modern information technologies. This article studies the views of psychology scientists and pedagogues on the problem of introduction of information technologies into the study of Ukrainian language as a specialization. It determines fundamental linguodidactic problems, which can be solved by the introduction of information technologies into the process of language studies. Psychological and pedagogical conditions for forming of professional speaking and speech competencies of economics students with the use of information technologies are described. Changes in the model and components of the language education as specialization with the use of information technologies are studied.
