SUMMARY

It is red-purple in colour with a secondary brownish-brownish tinge [1]. There are multiple causes of purpuric lesions in children. We report a case of purpura in a 17-year-old smoking patient (chicha) triggered by the sight of human blood of others, without psychiatric history, who had purpuric lesions. The diagnosis was based on clinical presentation and the circumstance of occurrence. The treatment consisted of removal of the trigger factor and smoking cessation. The purpura triggered by the sight of the human blood of others never reported, would be similar to psychogenic purpuras, it must be known and evoked in case of purpuric lesions caused by the sight of the human blood of others.
