SUMMARY
Hepatotropic drugs occupy an important place in the complex treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis and are used in hepatitis of various etiologies.Aim. To study the range and the index of social and economic availability of hepatoprotectors at the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market in dynamics within 2012-2015.Materials and methods. The solvency ratio was calculated.Results. During the study period there was an increase in the number of domestic drugs in Ukraine: from 84 trade names in 2012 to 100 trade names 2015. With the course of treatment by the minimum cost per a pack drugs weredivided into inaccessible (ursodeoxycholic acid, ornithine), medium available (arginine), and highly available (herbal medicines, silymarin).Conclusions. During the period of 2012-2015 the changes occurred in the range of hepatoprotectors. The number of domestic drugs increased, and number of import drugs left almost unchanged. Analysis of social and economic availabilityhas revealed that the vast number of drugs is medium available.
