A RELATIVE SUPERIORITY AS A MAJOR CONQUEST FACTOR OF AN ABSOLUTE SUPERIORITY IN A MILITARY CONFLICT

SUMMARY

This article shows the importance in obtaining the benefits at the preparatory and initial stages of the military conflict (relative superiority) to obtain an absolute superiority in general, necessary to take a victory in armed conflict. This article outlines the process of the preparation of the joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Information Operations (IO) military operation to obtain a relative superiority at the stage of planning, and the requirement for preliminary preparation and actions model number development under different conditions. At the stage of planning and conducting an operation the data from different sources of intelligence plays an important role in providing information for SOF and IO units as well as the preliminary training of every servicemen (group). An important issue in obtaining relative superiority is to hold it for some time considering that its loss may cause unpredictable consequences and, ultimately, the loss of combat action initiative.
