State of Fact and Trends of Tourism Activity in Alba County

SUMMARY

This paper relieves the main characteristics of tourism activity in Alba Countythrough the help of some specific indicators such as: accommodation capacity, arrivals and overnightsstay in the guesthouses, and tourist traffic indexes. All the indicators taken into the analysis confirmthe intense activity from the guesthouses. The actual state of fact, but also the trend confirms the factthat tourists prefer the guesthouses with a lower level of classification, mostly one and two flowersaccommodation.
