SUMMARY
AbstractThe present study compares the fertility rate ofCuban migrants living in the United States withthat of other Hispanics and natives in the countryduring the period of 2000-2014. The study includesdata published in the IPUMS base from the AmericanCommunity Survey during these years. These comparisons are dividedinto two samples groups: residents in Florida, andresidents in the rest of the country. The criteria usedfor the land division is founded on the concentrationof the Cubans in Florida, where more than 75% of Cubansin the United States live. If done well, the resultswill observe and intend to relate the information incontext to sketch various theories about the internalbehavior of the fertility rate of migrants and natives.
