THE METHODOLOGY AND RESULTS COMPARISON OF OPERATION QUALITY OF HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBERS OF CENTRAL SUSPENSION THE PASSENGER CARS BY THE RESULTS OF TESTS ON THE LINE

SUMMARY

Performance testing of passenger coaches equipped with different types of hydraulic dampers in secondary suspension which allowed determining characteristic frequencies, deformation velocities and resistance forces was carried out. Generalized criteria were proposed to compare dampers according to the ride qualities. Recommendations towards changing the requirements to the dampers and their rig testing methods are given.
