O CONHECIMENTO DO EDUCADOR COM RELAÇÃO À SAÚDE MENTAL INFANTIL NO ÂMBITO EDUCACIONAL - THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EDUCATOR IN REGARD TO CHILD MENTAL HEALTH IN THE EDUCATIONAL SCOPE

SUMMARY

Resumo: Este estudo objetivou identificarqual o entendimento que osalunos do curso de Letras e Pedagogia, promovidos pela UniversidadeEstadual de Goiás, têm sobre o conhecimento em relação à saúde mentalinfantil no âmbito educacional e sua relação com a educação inclusiva.Optou-se por realizar um estudo descritivo exploratório de cunhoqualitativo. Observou-se que os alunos pontuaram, para uma conduta maisefetiva e transformadora: o diálogo com base para a transformação econstrução na relação professor-aluno; o respeito à cidadania do aluno e ocompromisso do profissional para a aplicação concreta da assistênciaverdadeiramente qualificada, com proposta de melhor atendimento aoportador de doença mental.Palavras-chave: Educação, condutas típicas, inclusão, docência.Abstract: This study aims to identify the understanding that students of thecourse of Letras (Languages) and Pedagogia (Education), in the Universityof Goiás State, have in relation to the child mental health in the educationalscope and its relation with the inclusive education. It is an exploratorydescriptive study of qualitative type. Effective transformations wereobserved on the students: the dialogue as a basis for the changes and rapportbetween professor and student; the respect to citizens and the commitmentof the professional for the concrete application of the truly qualifiedassistance, aiming at a better attendance to the mental disabled ones.Key words: Education.
