Minimally invasive surgical treatment for lower thoracic and lumbar spine fractures

SUMMARY

The outcomes after minimally invasive anterior interbody fusion alone and in combination with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation for communited vertebral fractures in thoracic and lumbar spine were analyzed in 50 patients. An endoscopic fusion was developed and successfully used in 5 patients.
