Seelsorge and interreligious dimensions: Christian-Muslim cooperation in the German context, using a CPE model

SUMMARY

The author describes the German context for an intercultural and interreligiousSeelsorge “outreach” into our multicultural and multireligious society, in regard with CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education), as being a great tool to go “beyond the very Churchypeople” in our secular society. It is also a great tool to reach out even to people of other faith/religions in a respectful way, which is both differentiating and yet also appreciating diversities. In addition, it is an apt tool to develop a training curriculum in a joint venture together with people of other faiths/religions. He describes a first training model in Christian-Muslim cooperation on formation, including some basics of this tool.[#]
