SUMMARY
Ensino. Aprendizagem. EJA. AbstractThe qualitative and quantitative research stimulated the motivation and the effective participation of the students of the EJA, when developing a constructive methodology in the teaching-learning of organic chemistry. The process of chemical education, with the thematic axis cupuaçu, was carried out with the students of public school field, located in the city of Santana-AP. It was verified through an interview with the students , that the school methodology follows the verbal exposition of the chemistry contents. The cupuaçu, was chosen as the theme for being part of the student's diet. The research was carried out in five meetings: in the first, besides the interview, educator and the student exchanged knowledge about the historical, biological and chemical parts of the fruit. In the other four meetings, an experimental approach was developed to obtain triglycerides from the cupuaçu seed, and the following contents were learned: Kekulé postulates, hybridization, covalent sigma and pi bonds, formula and molecular weight, fatty acids and their importance in human metabolism and esterification reactions. The teachings took place dynamically and enabled the student to learn how to learn, contextualize and relate organic chemistry to the world around him or her. The evaluation carried out at each meeting revealed that the methodology applied was satisfactory. Keywords: Cupuaçu. Organic Chemistry. Teaching. Learning. EJA.
