SUMMARY
Introduction: The objective of the ethnography in education is to make a description meticulous of the events of the classroom. Towards it to portray the visions of the world of the participants and to obtain the meaning structures there that as group constructs to explain their world. In the case of the architecture part of the idea that the surroundings that surround to us can imagine like an information system in which, the urban means, the physical form of the architecture and the city could be interpreted like the translation of imaginary deeply taken root in psique of those who those spaces inhabit. In such a way that the individual and collective act to be constructed for itself an atmosphere reveals the series of thought structures that regulate the relations between the people and the physical structure of its habitat.Method: Given to the nature of our study this one is based on the qualitative investigation of the surroundings, starting off of ethnography techniques as they are it the interview to depth and the analysis of mental maps based on the studies made by the Dr. Benito Narváez Tijerina who explores the dimensions of the spontaneous drawing with which the inhabitants describe the city, settling down the relations of that class of representations with the built characteristics of the landscape to demonstrate the relations between the “morfogénesis” of the imaginary city and the real city.Results: The imaginary dimensions are superposed but they are not excluding of the materialarchitectonic dimension of the large city. city is not only captured by the senses, and is identified with our own body and our experience; the inhabitant of the city through a cognitive process, collects necessary contributed by the senses and projects his own mental images on the Un método cualitativo para el análisis del entorno urbano arquitectónico a partir de los imaginarios urbanos. From the imaginary ones constituted by images, information, experiences, symbolisms and fantasies reconstruct visions of the world with effects and expressed intentions of the daily action in the habitat. The symbolic appropriation of the space and to the “constitution of imaginary places” through the urban ones; it allows to understand the multiplicity of fragments and forms to make city. Discussion orConclusion: The place sense, allows understand the construction of the habitat from the experiences, meaning and emotions of the subjects, taking a central paper in the laying of foundations from the partner-territorial identities. The appropriation, the property and the identification of the citizen with its city not only it is possible to include/understand it through the space forms, but in their narrow relation with the interactions and situations of the social life.
