SUMMARY
En este artículo, se presentan los testimonios de docentes/mujeres en los que se plasman las representaciones simbólicas que, de su profesión y su práctica han construido. Son profesoras sindicalizadas a quienes su reciente ingreso al sistema educativo no sólo les ha representado la oportunidad de una vida mejor, sino que también ha sido un tránsito difícil a través de una estructura por demás burocrática y hegemónica, que también les ha representado trabas importantes para el desarrollo profesional y personal que llega a tener resonancia en la calidad educativa. AbstractIn this article, testimonies are being presented about teaching women in which symbolic representations about their professions and practice have created. They are union professors which their recent induction to the educative system not only has given them the opportunity for a better life, but also a hard transit into a structure beyond bureaucracy and hegemony, that also has represented two important shackles for professional and personal development which leads to repercussion for quality education.
