SUMMARY
The refurbishment of the drinking water supply system of the village of Monzoungoudo will lead us to estimate the reserve of this aquifer as well as the water needs of the populations, which will make it possible to predict whether the inhabitants of Monzoungoudo will be able to water by 2050. These estimates require a detailed knowledge of geology, hydrogeology, hydraulic properties of the environment, demography and climate. Population growth is leading to an increase in the demand for water for different uses, particularly for drinking water supply and irrigation. In response to this growing demand, groundwater management is a particularly sensitive area. In this work, the structure of the Monzoungoudo reservoir will be identified then the values of the transmissivity (Tr), groundwater flow velocity in the reservoir (v), storage coefficient (S), Hydraulic diffusivity (Dh) will be determined and the aquifer reserve as well as the needs of the population by 2050 will be estimated.
