JOINT STUDIO PADA STUDIO PERANCANGAN ARSITEKTURDOI : 10.24853/nalars.10.2.%p

SUMMARY

ABSTRAK. Terdapat lebih dari 170 perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang menyelenggarakan program studi sarjana arsitektur. Seluruh program studi tersebut menggunakan format studio sebagai salah satu cara utama pembelajaran, seperti juga halnya pada umumnya sekolah arsitektur di dunia (Lawson, 2004: 20). Dominasi studio tercermin dalam kurikulum program sarjana arsitektur nasional yang menuntut minimum 48 SKS studio. Diantara sekian banyak program studi arsitektur tersebut, terdapat berbagai “warna” atau paradigma yang dianut masing-masing program studi. Paradigma tersebut juga mewarnai tugas dan pelaksanaan studio perancangan arsitektur. Keragaman dalam studio perancangan merupakan kekayaan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang perlu diserap. Joint studio merupakan salah satu cara “menyerap” kekayaan ini. Artikel ini menyampaikan pengalaman penyelenggaraan joint studio perancangan arsitektur. Kata kunci : joint studio, studio, perancangan arsitektur ABSTRACT.  There are more than 170 universities in Indonesia that are organizing study program of architecture. Those entire study programs is applying studio format as one of the main ways of learning, as well as most schools of architecture in the world (Lawson, 2004: 20). Studio dominance is reflected in the national curriculum of architecture degree program that requires a minimum of 48 credits of studio. Among those many study programs of architecture, there are various "colors" or paradigm that has been adopted by each study program. The paradigm is also color the task and the implementation of architectural design studio. Diversity in the design studio is a power of knowledge and skills that need to be absorbed. Joint studio is one way to "absorb" this power. This article will deliver and share the experience of organizing joint studio in architectural design. Keywords: joint studio, studio, architectural design
