SUMMARY
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan game edukasi matematika yang efektif. Prosedur pengembangan ini menggunakan tahap formative evaluation yang meliputi self evaluation, expert review dan one to one evaluation, small group, lalu field test. Formative evaluation memiliki tujuan dalam mengembangkan produk yang efektif. Tujuan tersebut meliputi 1) mengidentifikasi kekurangan dalam keefektifan pembelajaran, saat mengidentifikasi kekurangan keefektifan tidak ditemukan siswa yan gagal dalam pembelajaran, melainkan penerapan game edukasi matematika dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi. 2) Menemukan masalah dalam kemudahan produk, saat penerapannya peneliti menemukan berbagai masalah. Masalah tersebut adalah tidak adanya petunjuk alur cerita, sehingga perlu dilakukan revisi. 3) Mengevaluasi kekuatan efisiensi produk, dalam penerapannya hanya memerlukan waktu 25-30 menit, sehingga dapat dikatakan game edukasi matematika memiliki efisiensi produk yang baik. 4) Menganalisis kekuatan produk, peneliti menemukan bebagai kelemahan dari game edukasi matematika yang terdiri dari kejelasan konten, kemenarikan game, dan bermanfaatan game sehingga peneliti melakukan revisi game edukasi matematika. Berdasarkan tujuan formative evaluation yang telah dilakukan, maka game edukasi matematika yang dikembangkan bersifat efektif. Development of a compter-based educational game on number patternsAbstractThe aim of this study to develop an effective mathematics education game. This development procedure used the formative evaluation stage which includes self evaluation, expert review and one to one, small group, then field test. Formative evaluation has some goals in developing effective products. These objectives include 1) identifying deficiencies in the effectiveness of learning, when identifying deficiencies in effectiveness, there were no students who failed learning, but the application of mathematics education game can make students more active and motivated. 2) Finding the probllems when using the product, when applying researchers found various problems. The problem is the absence story line instructions, so it needs to be revised. 3) Evaluating the strength of product efficiency, in its application only takes 25-30 minutes, so it can be said that the math education game has a good product efficiency. 4) Analyzing the strengths of the product, researchers found various weaknesses in the mathematics education game consisting of clarity of content, attracting games, and utilizing games so that researchers made revisions to the mathematics. Based on formative evaluation purpose that the researcher had took so the result has been show mathematics education game is effective.
