Pengaruh Pelatihan Perawatan Kesehatan Masyarakat Terhadap Pemahaman Etik Keperawatan Mahasiswa Ners STIKes Maranatha Kupang

Abstract

Background. Nursing profession students are nurses in the future who are expected to work professionally. Professional nurses have a good understanding of nursing ethics, to prevent malpractice when providing nursing services. Efforts to increase konwledge of nursing ethics through community health training. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the community health training on the knowledge of nursing ethics in nursing profession student of STIKes Maranatha Kupang. Method. Design in this study was a quasy-experiment with one group pre-posttest only. Sample in this study were 50 nursing profession student. The technique sampling was used total sampling method. Process of data collection using a questionnaire related to nursing ethics with 10 questions. Statistical test used Wilcoxon test. Results. Statistical test results obtained p-value <0.001. Based on the results of statistical tests it can be concluded that there is an influence of community health training on the knowledge of nursing ethics for nursing students of STIKes Maranatha Kupang.

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang. Mahasiswa profesi ners merupakan perawat dimasa depan yang diharapkan mampu bekerja secara profesional. Perawat profesional diharapkan memiliki pemahaman etika keperawatan yang baik, untuk mencegah terjadinya malpraktik ketika memberikan pelyanan keperawatan. Upaya peningkatan pemahmanan etika keperawatan salah satunya dengan pelatihan PERKESMAS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan PERKESMAS terhadap pemahaman etika keperawatan pada mahasiswa profesi ners STIKes Maranatha Kupang. Metode. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experiment dengan one group pre-posttest only. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa profesi ners sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode total sampling. Proses pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner seputar etika keperawatan sebanyak 10 soal. Uji statistik yang digunakan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil. Hasil uji statistic didapatkan nilai p-value< 0,001. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh pelatihan PERKESMAS terhadap pemahaman etika keperawatan mahasiswa profesi ners STIKes Maranatha Kupang.
