Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan model Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Langlang Yudho Blora. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan Quasi Experimntal bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji t-test diperoleh thitung 3,147 > ttabel 1,675, yang artinya model TTW efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi. Selanjutnya, rata-rata N-gain kelas kontrol 0,274 lebih kecil dari rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,367. Artinya yang memiliki perubahan lebih besarĀ  adalah kelas eksperimen. Pengamatan aktivitas siswa dengan lembar observasi menunjukkan rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yaitu 56,63%, sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu 53%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model TTW efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Langlang Yudho Blora.






Abstract






The purpose of this research was to test the effectiveness of the think talk write (TTW) model on narrative essay writing skills in fifth grade students of Gugus Langlang Yudho Elementary School Blora. This research was included in the experimental research using the Quasi Experimental form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample used with cluster random sampling technique. The results of the research showed that t-test obtained tcount 3,147> ttable 1,675, which means that the TTW model was effective for narrative essay writing skills. Furthermore, the average of N-gain control class 0,274 which was smaller than the N-gain average of the experimental class 0,367. This means those who had a greater change was the experimental class. Student activities were observed with observation sheets showed that the average experimental class was higher at 56.63%, while the control class was 53%. The conclusion of this research is that the TTW model was effective to improving the narrative essay writing skills of grade V students of Gugus Langlang Yudho Elementary School Blora.
