Abstrak


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru kurang tepat, sehingga motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan metode drill terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar seni musik materi nada kelas IV. Jenis penelitan ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental design bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji T-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar meningkat dilihat dari thitung (2,030462)> ttabel (2,021075). Hasil belajar menunjukkan peningkatan dilihat dari thitung (3,87516)> ttabel (2,021075). N-Gain menunjukkan motivasi belajar di kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,641888 (sedang), sedangkan motivasi belajar di kelas kontrol sebesar 0,292905(rendah). N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,598011(sedang), sedangkan hasil belajar di kelas kontrol sebesar 0,19152(rendah). Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu metode drill efektif diterapkan pada pelajaran seni musik materi nada kelas IV.

Abstract


This research was based on the learning method used by the teacher is not appropriate, so that motivation and student learning outcomes were low. The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the drill method towards motivation and learning outcomes of music art on tone material at grade IV. This type of research is an experimental reaseach with quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The techniques of data analisys used T-Test and N-Gain. The results showed that learning motivation increased seen from tcount (2.030462)> t table (2.021075). Learning outcomes show that tcount (3.87516)> t table (2.021075). N-Gain showed learning motivation in the experimental class was 0.641888 (moderate), while the learning motivation in the control class was 0.292905 (low). N-Gain showed that the learning outcomes in the experimental class were 0.598011 (moderate), while the learning outcomes in the control class were 0.19152 (low). It was concluced that the drill method was effective to be applied in class IV at tone music art lesson.
