PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY DENGAN MEDIA PUZZLE

Penelitian ini bertujuanmeningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang mencakup keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VA SDN Karanganyar 01 Semarang.Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas mecakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.Terdiri 2 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas 2 pertemuan.Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru sebagai peneliti dan siswa kelas VA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Keterampilan guru meningkat, siklus I pertemuan 1 memperoleh skor 19 kategori cukup, siklus I pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 28 kategori baik, siklus II pertemuan 1 memperoleh skor 34 kategori baik, siklus II pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 37 kategori sangat baik. (2) Aktivitas siswa meningkat, siklus I pertemuan 1memperoleh skor 15,89 kategori cukup, siklus I pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 17,68 kategori baik, siklus II pertemuan 1 memeperoleh skor 22,5 kategori baik, siklus II pertemuan 2 memperoleh skor 23,5 kategori baik. (3) Persentaseketuntasanhasil belajar IPS siklus I pertemuan 1 60,52%, siklus I pertemuan 2 meningkatan menjadi 71.05%, siklus II pertemuan 1 meningkat menjadi 92,1%, silkus II pertemuan 2 meningkatan menjadi 97,3%. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan model kooperatif tipe two stay two straydengan media puzzledapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS SDN Karanganyar 01 Kota Semarang
The research purpose to improve the quality of learning which consisted of the teachers skill, the students activity, and the study results of IPS subject in grade VA of SDN Karanganyar 1 Semarang. I designed a classroom action research that consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. This study was done in two cycles, each cycle was done in two meetings. Test and nontest were used as the instruments to collect the data needed. The study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the study was: (1) the teachers skill was improved, the average score of cycle one test in the first meeting was 19 in the enough category, cycle one test in the second meeting was 28 in the good category, cycle two test in the first meeting was 34 in the good category, cycle two test in the second meeting was 37 in the excellent category. (2) the students activity was increased, the average score of cycle one test in the first meeting was 15,89 in the enough category, the first cycle in the second meeting was cycle one test in the second meeting was 17,68 in the good category,cycle two test in the first meeting was 22,5 in the good category, cycle two test in the second meeting was 23,5 in he good category. (3) The percentage of the study results of IPS subject in cycle one test in the first meeting was 60,52%, cycle one test in the second meeting improved 71,05%, cycle two in the first meeting improved 92,1%, cycle two in the second meeting improved 97,3%. Conclusion of this research is cooperative type two stay two stray with puzzle model canimprovement of the quality of learning of IPS subject of SDN Karanganyar 1 Semarang.
