The Future of Smart Waste Management System
Abstract
Abstract—Smart waste management system (SWMS) is a smart solution in waste management which involves various technologies in order to create a powerful system that can help automate and streamline garbage management, and maintain a safe environment for the betterment of the society. The current system employed by waste management is wasting money, time and workforce, and increasing carbon emissions generated by garbage trucks. Therefore, a further exploration in smart waste solutions is being done to find the importance of SWMS and the technologies involved in it. A number of papers regarding SWMS were chosen to be reviewed to provide insights in the subject matter. The findings support the need to promote smart waste solution movements because of the benefits it offers.Published
