Persebaran spasial dan temporal ikan endemik pirik (Lagusia micracanthus) Di Das Maros Dan Das Wallanae Cenrana, Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan persebaran ikan pirik secara spasial dan temporal serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persebarannya pada sungai-sungai di DAS Maros dan di DAS Walanae Cenranae. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dari bulan Mei 2018 hingga April 2019. Penelitian dilakukan di 19 stasiun pengambilan sampel, terdiri atas 6 stasiun di DAS Maros dan 13 Stasiun di DAS Walanae Cenranae, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penangkapan ikan pirik menggunakan electric shocker (12 V, 9 A) dan jaring lempar. Ikan contoh diawetkan dalam larutan formalin 10% dan alkohol 70 %.  Pengukuran parameter fisik kimiawi perairan meliputi kedalaman, arus, suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, padatan tersuspensi total (TSS), padatan terlarut total (TDS) dan konduktivitas. Hasil penelitian menujukkan persebaran spasial ikan pirik pada sungai-sungai di DAS Maros terdiri atas empat stasiun yaitu M1 (S. Pattunuang), M2 (S. Bantimurung), M3 (S. Pucak), M4 (S. Batu Bassi) dan pada sungai-sungai di DAS Walanae Cenranae terdiri atas  delapan stasiun yaitu W1 (S. Camba), W2 (S. Sanrego), W4 (S. Batu-Batu), W5 (S. Sawae), W6 (S. Pising), W7 (S. Mutiara), W8 (S. Assanae) dan W10 (S. Ompo). Persebaran temporal ikan pirik terdiri atas tiga kategori persebaran yaitu ikan pirik yang ditemukan pada semua musim, ikan pirik hanya ditemukan ketika musim tertentu, dan ikan pirik yang tidak ditemukan pada semua musim. Jumlah ikan pirik ditemukan terbanyak pada musim penghujan, diikuti awal musim penghujan, kemudian awal musim kemarau dan terendah pada musim kemarau.  Jumlah ikan pirik yang tertangkap dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik fisik kimiawi perairan yaitu kecerahan, oksigen terlarut dan arus.
