Implementasi Pencegahan COVID-19 di Perguruan Tinggi: Studi Kasus di Sebuah Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Kota Kendari

Abstract


 The development of the COVID-19 case phenomenon affects the education sector, especially the Halu Oleo University campus environment. Learning methods that were previously carried out offline or face-to-face are now carried out by a distance learning process. In addition, the campus also applies "clean and healthy living behavior" in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this study is to explore in depth the implementation of COVID-19 prevention at Halu Oleo University. The approach used in this research was qualitative. The data in this study were obtained through in-depth interviews, literature studies, literature reviews from previous studies, books, and others. The results showed that the implementation of COVID-19 prevention was through the stages of an online learning system, monitoring "clean and healthy living behavior", implementing resources, facilities and infrastructure, and evaluating policies, which have been implemented in accordance with the policies set by the campus. However, in the implementation of COVID-19 prevention, there were obstacles, namely: problems with the quality of the internet network for students in remote areas, lack of adaptation to new learning systems, and lack of discipline in preventing COVID-19 in the campus environment.

ABSTRAK

 

Perkembangan fenomena kasus COVID-19 berpengaruh terhadap sektor pendidikan, terutama lingkungan kampus Universitas Halu Oleo. Metode pembelajaran yang sebelumnya di lakukan secara offline atau tatap muka kini dilakukan proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Selain itu, pihak kampus juga menerapkan “perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat” dalam mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggali secara mendalam tentang implementasi pencegahan COVID-19 di Universitas Halu Oleo. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, studi kepustakaan, literatur review dari penelitian terdahulu, buku, dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pencegahan COVID-19 adalah melalui tahapan sistem pembelajaran online, monitoring “perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat”, sumber daya pelaksana, sarana dan prasarana, serta evaluasi kebijakan, sudah diterapkan sesuai dengan kebijakan yang ditetapkan oleh pihak kampus. Namun, dalam implementasi pencegahan COVID-19, terdapat hambatan yaitu: masalah kualitas jaringan internet bagi mahasiswa di daerah terpencil, kurangnya adaptasi terhadap sistem pembelajaran baru, serta kurangnya disiplin terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 di lingkungan kampus.
