Traffic streams, sources as well as aggregated traffic flows, often exhibit long-range-dependent (LRD) properties. This paper presents the theoretical foundations to justify that the behavior of traffic in a high-speed computer network can be modeled from... see more

Purpose. This study explores the processing of English articles by native speakers of Hejazi Arabic, a language with articles. The research aims to answer the question of whether offline (explicit) knowledge of specificity in English article choice mirror... see more

Simulation modelling is carried out, which allows adequate describing the traffic of multiservice networks with the commutation of packets with the characteristic of burstiness. One of the most effective methods for studying the traffic of telecommunicati... see more

As the first layer of AOS multiplexing, the frame scheduling performance has a great effect on the efficiency of multiplexing. Traditional researches about the scheduling model mainly focus on the source packet arrival model of Poisson process. In this pa... see more

In a previous paper it was proposed, and theoretically confirmed, that analysis of self-similar traffic flows with long-range dependence may be restricted to the network layer. In this paper this novel concept is applied to the study of traffic recorded i... see more

The problem of searching relationships between the parameters of self-similarity, stability and long-range dependency of fractal Lev motionis considered. It was proposed to use indexes, constructed by means a model of symmetric mixing of latent factors as... see more

Materials and methods: The theoretical methods used were the description and explanation of the maneuvers seen by the teacher. The updated information from the 2015 American Heart Association guidelines for RCPC, which includes critical patient screening and Basic Cardiopulmonary-Cerebral Resuscitation, was used in the same way. Results: the entire process of making scripts and production, was carried out entirely with personnel and own equipment and facilities of the ELAM, without having to resort to external services or personnel. The final product was a pack of 16 videos, each demonstrating a technique of Cardiopulmonarcerebral Resuscitation. Conclusions: the videos were well received by the students, a result reflected in a survey applied at the end of the course, which also allowed to know suggestions, which have been taken into account for the preparation of future videos of a similar nature.
