The Words "times of day": Lexical and Derivational Aspect

SUMMARY

The article presents a comparative analysis of the lexical meaning of the words "times of day" in modern Russian language. Addressed attention to the change in the semantics of a given word in the last ten centuries. In addition, the derivational capabilities of the lexeme "times of day" are compared. To find out this the word-forming nests are compared with corresponding vertex words, the mismatch of which can cause certain problems in translation of closely related languages.
