PHILOSOPHICAL PARADIGMS OF THE EAST AND THE WEST AS BASES OF THE MODERN BIOMEDICAL ETHICS

SUMMARY

This article deals with the impact of the philosophical views of east and western thinkers, such as Hippocrates and Abu Ali ibn Sina. Also in this article we consider how philosophical bases of the traditional medicine were reflected in modern biomedical ethics. In the article the question of the link between doctor’s outlook and hisorientation to the principles of biomedical ethics is brought up.
